We have had some propblem with loose dogs in the neighborhood, and always contact the subject property owner when this problem is brought to the ROACC's attention (you can use the 'Contact Us' link to contact ROACC). Property owners who do not respond to our request for proper control of their dogs will be subject to citation and potential other enforcement by the Sherriff's office for violation of the county's leash laws. The Sherriff's office can be reached at 335-6000, and they will respond to all such complaints. Hopefully all dog owners will act responsibly and respectfully of their neighbors.

My wife got bit by a dog on Crescent Hill last year. The Sheriff's Department came out and took a statement, but nothing ever happened. This is good information because they never could get in touch with the owner and neither could we. They said we needed to get the dog tested for rabies or verify that it had shots. She doesn't run in the neighborhood anymore. They are lucky it wasn't me running that day. Please, if you have big people eating dogs, keep them in your fence for everyone's sake.

Hi Mark. Please send that info in the mail to all homeowners. I bet most of the loose dog owners don't read this bulletin board. Thanks
